Woojung Bae

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics at the University of Florida under the guidance of Dr. Michael J. Daniels. During the summer of 2022, I served as a Ph.D. research intern at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals within the biostatistics and data management team under the supervision of Dr. Chenguang Wang.

Originally from South Korea, I obtained dual Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics from Kyung Hee University in 2016. Subsequently, I earned a Master’s degree in statistics from Yonsei University under the supervision of Dr. Sangwook Kang.

My research interests encompass various areas of statistics, with a focus on Bayesian methodology, semi-parametric methods, causal inference, mediation analysis, hierarchical models, software development, methods for incomplete data (including intercurrent event data and missing data), survival data, and longitudinal data.
